S-Lab
S-lab is our whitebox space sponsored by Sparebanken Sør. Here, we will experiment with digital communication, offer new experiences and perspectives on art, with top-class technology and innovation.
Art Terrace
Visit our terrace on the 5th floor to experience our Art Terrace- usually in wild interaction with the forces of nature from the South, and always with a splendid view of the fjord.
Gjerdeløa
The Gjerdeløa project by Marianne Heske has found its permanent home on the 4th floor of Kunstsilo. Central to the project is the relocation of a timbered hay barn from the 17th century. This project has sparked a variety of various opinions and interpretations and it has gained an almost iconic status in Norwegian art history.
Kunstsilo offers many art experiences and educational offerings for kindergartens and schools. Our offerings are free and include guided tours and workshops. We also welcome school classes who want to explore Kunstsilo on their own.
