The purpose was to create an event that was especially designed to engage children and young people. Kunstsilo wanted to give them a place to be together and co-create with others, using their body and engineering mind in the experience. Collective Paper Aestethics (CPA) matched this perfectly. Kunstsilo worked together with CPA to create a design which connects to the architecture of the building. The silo shape is a dominant feature in the architecture, and the paper modules can be connected together to become a silo structure. The modules can also become many other things – like disco balls, spaceships, dinosaurs and Barbies! The modules connect in many different ways, and inspires creativity from everyone joining in. During 10 days in summer 2024, young and old participated in co-creation of new structures. The event created an ambience of playfulness and togetherness for everyone visiting Kunstsilo at the time. The reflective material of the module is an intentional choice. One of Kunstsilo's core values is to contribute to the skill of being able to look at oneself and the world from multiple perspectives. This value is evident in the Kunstsilo module, which has been given a reflective surface. The surface reflects the participants and viewers in the surroundings, from several perspectives, like in a kaleidoscope.
